For anything outside of the Pool Start-up or monthly service, such as a maintenance item or specific task such as an acid wash, tile cleaning, or other service not included in our monthly service, we typically quote a price in addition to a base hourly rate of $125.00/hour.

What are the benefits a Salt Pool?

Saltwater pools and chlorine pools are two distinct types of swimming pools that sanitize their water in different ways.

Traditional chlorine pools use chlorine tablets or liquid to sanitize the water, which can result in a strong chlorine odor and irritate the eyes, skin, and hair. In addition, the chlorine levels in the pool must be routinely monitored and adjusted to maintain the proper balance.

In contrast, saltwater pools use an electrolysis process to convert salt into chlorine. This is accomplished by passing the saltwater through a salt cell, which employs an electrical current to convert the salt into chlorine. This type of pool requires less chlorine to maintain a proper chemical balance, resulting in less chlorine odor and irritation to the eyes, skin, and hair.

Among the advantages of a saltwater pool over a chlorine pool are:

Why do I have a calcium line in my pool?

As a pool service company, we recognize that calcium lines can be a frustrating issue for pool owners. We wish to reassure you that this is a common problem that can be easily remedied by taking the appropriate measures.

A calcium line in a pool is the result of high calcium concentrations in the water. This can be caused by hard water, high pH levels, or high levels of total dissolved solids (TDS) in the pool water, among others.

To address this issue, we suggest the following measures:

We will regularly test your pool water and adjust the pH levels as necessary to prevent further accumulation.

Total dissolved solids (TDS) levels will be lowered by draining the pool and refilling it with fresh water.

Using the Langlier Saturation Index (LSI): The LSI is a method for measuring the relative calcium carbonate saturation of water. By monitoring the LSI, we can prevent the formation of a calcium line by maintaining the water within the appropriate range to prevent calcium precipitation.

Using a calcium sequestrant, this chemical will be added to your pool water to prevent calcium from forming deposits.

Scrubbing the deposit: We will use a brush with stiff bristles to scrub and remove the deposit.

Following the manufacturer's instructions to the letter, we will use this chemical to dissolve the calcium deposit.

It is essential to remember that preventing a problem is always preferable to attempting to fix it. As part of our services, we will test and balance the water chemistry of the pool, as well as ensure proper filtration and circulation, in order to prevent the future formation of a calcium line. What can I do between Service visits to keep my pool looking clean?

Here are a few things you can do between pool maintenance visits to keep your pool clean:

Use a pool skimmer to remove floating debris from the water's surface, such as leaves, insects, and other debris.

Use a pool brush to remove algae and other deposits from the pool's walls and floor.

Using a pool vacuum, remove dirt and debris from the bottom of the pool.
If you do not own a Vacuum Robot, you are missing out! 10 out of 10 customers find that having one makes their pool cleaner.

Determine the water level: Ensure that your pool's water level is sufficient.

After a heavy rain or windstorm, you should examine your pool for debris and remove it as necessary.
Check your skimmer and pump baskets immediately!
